She reframes content and storytelling as a business strategy, not a marketing add on, a way to turn client work into visibility, credibility, and future revenue without adding headcount or overwhelming small teams.

    You will learn how to intentionally design events so they create value on both sides of your business: meaningful assets your clients can use immediately, and proof that positions you as the expert behind the experience.

    This session is not about becoming an influencer or adding more to your plate. It is about building a repeatable, founder friendly system where your best work continues working for you long after the event is over.

    We will also dive into the world of Slack, the new communications tool being launched for CanSPEP members. Learn how we will connect with each other, explore the features Slack offers, and ask Samantha all of your burning questions! Invitations to join the CanSPEP Slack Community will be sent out before this Connections call, so that we can explore it together in real time as Sam demo’s the tool.

    CanSPEP Connections will, in general, be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 ET for one hour.

    Saturday, June 20 – Welcome to Regina 

    Flights will be scheduled to arrive in Regina on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with hosted airport transfers from Regina International Airport (YQR) to the historic Hotel Saskatchewan, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. Centrally located downtown, the hotel offers immediate walkability to key venues, dining, and green spaces, making it an ideal hub for meetings and events.

    The evening begins with a casual dinner showcasing prairie‑inspired, locally sourced cuisine that highlights Saskatchewan’s rich agricultural heritage. Guests will then enjoy a performance at the Globe Theatre, Canada’s only professional theatre‑in‑the‑round, offering a uniquely immersive cultural experience.


    Sunday, June 21 – Site Tours + Local Experiences

    The morning begins with a wellness‑focused breakfast, followed by a guided breathwork session centered on resetting and refocusing energy.

    Guests will then participate in a guided tour of Regina’s key convention hotels and conference facilities, gaining firsthand insight into:

    • Venue layouts and capacities
    • On‑site services and event flow
    • Proximity, walkability, and transportation logistics

    Lunch will be hosted in scenic Wascana Park, providing time to explore one of Canada’s most beautiful urban green spaces—located just minutes from downtown venues.

    The afternoon will feature curated tours of Regina’s distinctive off‑site event venues, highlighting creative options for receptions and special events. The day continues with a private local shopping experience, followed by time to refresh and relax.

    Throughout the weekend, National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations will take place in nearby Victoria Park, located directly adjacent to the hotel. In recognition of this important occasion, guests will be welcomed to a hosted dinner at The Burrow, celebrating Indigenous cuisine, culture, and community.

    After a comfortable night’s rest, guests will be refreshed and ready to begin the 2026 CanSPEP Conference.
